I have always been a sucker for true love, saw a movie today where true love stands the test of time where lovers unite some 50 years later left me with a ‘awww’ feeling. The movie being ‘Letters from Julliet’. I had an argument with a few friends a while back on how ‘true love’, ‘eternal love’, ‘undying love’ exists but was scoffed at by quite a few after seeing more than their far-share of break-ups & bad relationships & the advent of reality shows which make a mockery of the whole emotion. Interestingly, the quite-spoken, shy ones had a more ‘practical’ view, they thought it was nothing but a matter of galloping hormones & few excellent cinematographic moments….the image of prince charming riding aback a sturdy horse coming to rescue us had blurred, the new-age version was 'boy-with stable-income-steering his four-wheeler' our temporary lapses of non-beliving-ness hae been thus fuelled. The skeptic in us does wake up occasionally when things around are not hunky dory & when the going gets tough.
So Goodluck to all those searching souls & may hope be with you.
